Anyone know the correct method for measuring LG's? Just want to be sure we're doing it like everyone else.

Duff, It's end to end. Put them on a table & stand a block of wood at each end of the gourd & measure the distance in between. Deb's right, curves don't count. Good luck.

The long stuff here gets laid on a sheet of paper on a flat surface a mark is made at the top and bottom and the distance between the two marks measured.I've seen several different world records that have been measured this way.
