Don't expect more than a minute or two of actual air time. That is the nature of the show. It is discovery, hit and run quick to another subject.

the 1,502 will be carved and on display in central park (n.y.) so the trip is not just to be on the m.s. show.

once the show is over the pumpkin goes to the park.
(with strict instructions to notify us at least one day in advance before carving)
( one of us will be there to retrive ALL seeds lol )

Grrrr...stupid Buffalo weather! In Toronto, some of our stations are broadcast from Buffalo where record snowfalls have cripled the city.

I was all ready to watch the show, recording on my computer, then right in the middle of talking about the WR long gourd, the station changed to a briefing from officials about the storm recovery. Oh, well. I guess I'll have to catch it again at 3pm on another chanel.

And, I'll be sure to tell my friends in New York to check out the 1502 (and maybe sneak some seeds for me :-)).
