Thank you very much, Bob and Wayne for the nice Long Gourd plaque and champion cup. It was a nice suprise to be awarded this honor. I'm sure it's going to become much more popular growing long gourds this year. There were a lot of growers interested in growing them. I wish them all the best this 2007 season.

It was an honor to present it to you as well Joe. Bob has been a GVGO Member since it's inception. He puts a lot of work into his LG lists every year & makes it available to those interested in growing them. Wayne is new to the LG scene in 2006, but came in 11th overall. Thanks guys for putting this award together. I'm sure it'll increase the popularity of LG's. We here at the GVGO have been big LG supportors since the clubs beginning & have some of the best LG Growers in the world as members. Looking at the GPC winners list for 2006 shows that only 2 growers in the top-20 aren't GVGO members. Check out our website (www.gvgo.ca) for growing instructions. Good luck to all this season.

Way to go Joe! Love the plaques that you made through your woodworking business.
I liked the wooden long gourd trophy/plaque too, very unique!

Joe Jutras........your welcome, glad your happy with the awards....Plaque is a onetime award for first 125" Long Gourd.
