My long gourd seed connection fell through, I am on the hunt for a couple of long gourd seeds, I do not have much to trade with but I am willing to barter. If anybody could help me out that would be great.

How long does it usually take for the seeds to come up on avg. and how do you start you start your seeds? I have some and just soaked them over night and planted them on the 12th and still nothing. Any info on this would be Great Thank You in advance Duane

LG seeds can be very stubborn to germinate...probably 10-14 days might be an average? I think some heat really helps them break out. I file the seed coat edges and soak and then right into warmed seed starting mix with Saran-Wrap over top to create mini-green houses so the mix doesn't dry out. LG's require patience to get going, but stand back once they get established so you don't get entwined in their vines...LOL
