I have yet to find any females on my LGs. I have lots of males (flowers that have thin stem and are 4-6" long) but I see no females.
Maybe I am missing something...

Mine are rotting away before they get big enough to pollinate. You might want to check if there are any little wee brown or yellowish ones.

How old are your plants, how long/tall are they roughly ?

15' tall, tons of side vines, lots of males, whole trellis (4' wide) is covered.

My trellis is 10' tall and don't typically see females till vine has crested that for a couple/few weeks later. Plants went in ground Memorial day here (May 26) Hope that helps! 3 plants threw early females, and 4 plants were very much later, all different seeds. If I were a better record keeper the details would be better...LOL!

My results are similar to Duff...I usually get a couple of females early and then about the time the first ones stop growing the second group of females arrive. about 8-10' from the first. I pollinated 2 a little over a week ago. 1 set went to 12" and stopped. We have had cold night (in the 50's) may be the reason.
I have a long top trellis (about 36" x 12ft long). they just keep running across the top. right now it is at about 20ft long...Chris
