Just some wisdom gained from experience here...LG's will split if left on the vine too long. Fat or skinny gords, it doesn't seem to matter! Harvested my best this season after I saw no additional growth after 3 days. Never seen them stop and start up again...yet...LOL! Splits are ok as I understand for competition, but if it's deep, the fruit may not make it to the weigh-off! Keep an eye on it and have fun! Duff
