it is so cool seeing the long gourds and those pear gourds and all the different type of giant veggies showing up from sambo's tomatos to ian's onions to spudley's 70 lb rutabega in the grower diaries. keep them coming as it is very entertaining to see and learn about your experiences with other giant vegetables. i applaud all the effort to all you giant veggie growers out there. g always has had some cool pics of all kinds of strange veggies in his past diaries but hasn't posted pics in a bit. i see boom boom erin has dabbled as well this year with some outstanding veggies. good work all, it is sure fun seeing and hearing about 'em.

Nothing fun here this year Shazzy---its a working summer....just a few green squash and some nice tasty tomatoes. 12 jalepeno seedlings bought at a nursery turned out to be some other pepper....cauliflower turned out to be cabbage...beans and cukes are being eaten by two-spotted mites and the onions from home depot were diseased and pulled early on. No time this summmer.....maybe next year.
