Not sure, but measured a 98" Long Gourd on Saturday at Bear Wallow Farm, in Nancy, Kentucky...at the Third Annual Kentucky Giant Pumpkin Growers weighoff. Don't know of any other Long Gourds ever grown in Kentucky, so guess this would be the KY. record. Congrats to Jamie Wexler!!! Oh, by the way he also had a 84"er, so I would guess Jamie now has the 1st and 2nd longest!!! Peace, Wayne

Congrats to Jamie, we will get the LG site updated as soon as we overcome a technical glitch. The same is true for recent MI results.

Thanks Wayne, Bob. There were times when I questioned myself on why I was growing a long gourd but now I see why, it was a fun "battle".
I have spoken with several locals that grow LG's but they grow them on the ground. 48" seems to be about the longest the locals have ever heard about. They thought it strange that I grew mine on a trellis! LOL....
