Kenny:
You request seeds, people respond and you keep requesting.
Why are you doing this?

All you have to do is go to www.longgourd-growers.com go to the seeds link and it gives you the email of growers willing to distribute seeds.
I mentioned this in your earlier post but you chose to ignore.

Kenny, you're not listening. Go to www.longgourd-growers.com, there are growers that you can contact for seeds. Failing that, you have world class LG growers in your back yard, why not ask them. Many SNGPG members also grow long gourds.

I have e-mails sent to them andy. I'm new to the LG growing world. I have visited that sight and have e-mailed the growers there. I don't think its fair that i accept seeds of great caliber from world champs quite yet. To my understanding LG seeds may not take to the soil so I might need a few just to get started. I'm trying to get common seeds and build from there. I've talked to my carpenter and will have a tresil made in the spring. I gotta get some knowledge on the subject along with seed and build from there. Cheers.

Kenny, Send me an email and I can give you some seeds. They are from 50-54" gourds, but they have the good genetics (Attaway, Timm and Lovelace seed stock). I learned a hard lesson this year: long gourds need good air circulation or they develop fungal leaf diseases. Especially if you have excessive rains. That is why the were less than half of their potential. As far as soil goes, I'm sure any soil that will grow pumpkins will grow gourds.

Read your response, then go about one inch from your last response and read the email address of Iowagian.
