What do you guys fertilizer your long gourds with and any tricks to get them to go long? my seem to stop at about 6ft.

I do the same as pumpkins, although the probably require less food.
Just my observation (hoping other chim in) but the firts ones seem shorter ... they are done in 30-45 days ... after those are cut, the next ones come in longer. It might have to do with more plant ... or more shade ... don't know, but for me the last ones are the longest ones. Also, the dark green marble ones seem to grow longer then plants with light green ones or fat club ones ... but would like to hear more from others ...

This is my first year growing the long skinny green marble ones.
I have been using molasses and Miracle Gro to feed my gourd.
Plant seems to love it.
I have one growing at the bottom and several at the top I just pollinated.
