rookie question--how do you all go about protecting the females and males for a controlled cross. seems to me it would be more touchy than an ag based on the smaller size. also, how should you go about deciding how many to try and actively grow at one time?

Youd have to bag the females-possibly the foot from a womans nylon stocking would work

I think 2-3 LG's per plant is maximum the plant support for a long one. Left 6 on one plant last season and got 6 six footers. Who knows had I culled to one or two how long they may have gotten? Good luck!
