My kids and I are growing long gourds (and a pumpkin).First time growers. My son and I were checking out our trellis and how everything is going and my son says hey dad look at that one. I look over in a part of the trellis that is very thick with vines and there is a 35" gourd. Had no idea it was there so now my son has taken dibbs on that one. Very cool.

Several years ago Leonardo Urena of Napa CA had a great LG going and in the end found a longer one growing in the mass, it was a World Record for that year.
