I had to pick some immature l.g.'s night before last because of threat of frost.I was just looking through some posts from last year,--for cooking long gourds. Just had one for breakfast--yum! They are great fried in olive oil with a couple cloves of garlic, a little oregano, ground pepper, a touch of Lowry's seasoning, then topped with a sprinkling of parmesan. So much better than just composting them!
