What are some of the tricks or what is the best way to germinate older seeds? I have a couple that are 9 years old and would like to get them in the dirt for 2012. This past year was my first year to grow them. What I did last spring was file the edges, soak them overnight in diluted Neptune's Harvest Fish and Seaweed at 90 degrees and then planted them and kept them at 90 degrees until they germinated and then placed them under full spectrum lighting. Any thought/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA, Sandy

I think you have it all figured out. I did exactly the same thing two years ago with 6 2000 seeds and 5 germinated.

Thanks Andy, it's good knowing someone else had some luck doing this with older seeds.
