I have one long gourd that is still nice and green. it has been outside ever since i cut it in late october. I brought one inside about two weeks ago to start thinking about harvesting seeds and it started to shrivel and dry immediately. I want to take the green one to a show in three weeks--what is the best method of keeping it green for that amount of time? i am in PA so we will have freezing temps and some snow in that amount of time probably, although that has not seemed to bother it to this point. jjlorson@yahoo.com

I got one still taped to the board standing up in the barn looking great 'cept for a couple small moldy looking spots. I'd wipe it down with a mild bleach/water solution and keep it outside or in unheated garage if possible. Good luck!
