Hi all WAS WONDERING HOW MANY OF YOU PLANTED IN THE SAME SPOT YEAR AFTER YEAR. IAM PUTTING UP MY TRELLIS FOR THE YEAR USEING 4X4 POST. SO I REALLY DONT WANNA HAVE TO MOVE IT EVERY YEAR. LOL. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. YOU ALSO CAN SEND ME AN E-MAIL. THANK YOU DANNY REEB

This will be my 8th year in same spot. I just make sure the soil is happy each year. John

This is our 2nd year at growing. We are growing in the same spot but we dug out the soil and put it in our compost pile, mixed it all up and then refilled the raised boxes. We have horses, alpaca and chickens so our compost pile has a mix of poo this year. Thought we'd add a bit of steer manure to it as well just to see how the plants do.

Same as what VT and Sparky said here. @ 8th year same spot too! Keep in mind LG's send out very very long roots! They have been recorded as long as 20-30 ft!

Thank you VT , Sparky and Duff. I will be putting up my trellis this yr, will be useing 4x4 this time. so i wanted to be able to leave it . years past i staked it, blew down so in go the post. lol thank you again
