I am not sure about CT but mine go in the ground about mid May in VT. LGs don't get pot bound as quickly as AGs so you can probably germ soon and plant in the ground earlier than I do. The beauty of the LG is that the fruit typically matures in 40 days. I have heard stories of 45 days but that is rare. So LGs can go in the ground later if you want with no worry of late season growth like we see in AGs. I like to pollinate by early August in VT as our weather can be quite cool in September. i have better luck getting started end of may and get plants in the ground first week of june
