What do you use for support on a really big gourd? if anything. I should easily break 100" this year(knock on wood) which would be a first. So I am not sure if I should try and support it up a little and if so with what or how. Thanks for any tips

I'm using arbor tie. It is used for staking trees. get it snug somewhere down 5-6inches (clove hitch) or how ever you like, and tie off to wires on top. I like the wider contact compared to panty hose, but have some of both. I put a piece of 1 inch or 3/4 inch pvc over rerod in ground and lightly secure bottom so it doesnt blow all over in wind. PVC can also serve as an approximate measurement guide. Obviously as gourd gets heavier it will sag lower to ground. I mark on it with Sharpie each days growth.
