hello mark my long gourds just went over the top of trellis to the top it is 12 ft have a week or two before i pollinate

Hey Mark. 4 out of the 6 LG's made it to the second turn towards the top of my trellis 12ft up and a little longer of actual main. I've been pinching off the tertiary vines off the secondaries as they grow. All the plants are growing like wild fire....

Lost all four of my best to rains. had one left in a pot, it is now 7ft up the side.. waaaayy behind!

Unusual growth on one plant this year,17' today,July 11.

The seed was started May 20,so 52 days.Also that plant had the first open male blossom on May 9.

Experience tells me this has little relationship to the final results,but fun to note anyway.

I just got my first pollination yesterday. It's a 124 Young x Self. Looking forward to watching it go. This is first year for LG's and watching these thing grow should be fun.
