Geez, the gourd Fred took to Windsor measured 137.5 inches. I think that makes him the first person to grow more two gourds over 130 inches, amazing!

On the home page select GPC info page. Once there select 2013 results from individual sites. Find Nova Scotia, AVGVG Glad Gardens and click long gourds. Same thing for the Windsor Weigh off.

Interesting genetic fact. Fred grew the 139.25 from the 120 Kline and pollinated with the 123 Rumancik, and the the 137.50 Ansems was grown from the 119.75 Rumancik and pollinated with the 120 Kline. Both the 123 and the 119.75 Rumanciks were grown from the 116.62 Martin and were selfed, but both the 123 and the 119.75 were sisters that were grown on the same plant.
