I was wondering if anyone has tracked growth for a long gourd of lets say ...130 inches. What can a guy expect to see at day 15, 20, 25 or day 30. The only numbers I can find are for gourds considerably shorter ....I thought it might be time for an update on what to expect from todays big gourds!

Hi Petey, here are my numbers from last year's 136 3/4" gourd. Please keep in mind it was grown in West Quebec which is a cooler climate than most.

Day 20-78"
24-93"
30-115"
33-123"
37-132"
39-134"
41-134"
45-136 3/4" (was probably finished on day 43 or 44)

Ok, I screwed up a bit:
Day 37 should be 129"
Day 39 132"
Day 41 134"
