How much ground is everyone dedicating to an individual long gourd plant?

My friends here in PA grew a couple over 100” on their first try with only about 3’ x 6’ of soil prepped for each plant. They grew 2 plants- 1 up each side of the trellis. Their weigh-off entry was 117” and they had a longer one earlier in the year that didn’t make it.

Been using an 8ft x 8 ft raised bed. And the bed is about 12 inches deep. For one plant.

The roots will run 25' plus if in good loose soil and not contained. my bed was 7'x 16' 10"deep for three plants.

I grow three plants in an area of amended and tilled soil that is about 30 x 15ft and a good 12 inches plus deep. The roots will really spread out and go deep if given the space.

Each trellis takes up a 4’ x 12’ space but the roots can easily grow to 120 square feet or more.
