Hey all, I was just wondering if any weight estimation tables or methods exist for giant tomatoes? My tomatoes are far from big but I'm curious where they stand right now. Thanks!

Take small kitchen scales to garden...gently place under tomato in question... lift slowly as to not break stem. Won't be exact but should be close. Hope this helps. Peace Wayne

there is no method to two factors 1. Giant Tomatoes have such an irregular shape that in most cases estimation is not possible. 2. The size of tomatoes also makes estimation very hard and inaccurate.

i have created i chart that i have been using for a few years....it will tell you most times to within about 2 oz's what i did was i started to measure tomatoes (kinda like a pumpkin) then i put them on a scale and charted them. now by taking three dimension off of a tomato i can look at a chart and get an est. weight. what i have noticed is if you remove your tomato when its still green it will be under the chart
