To anyone with tomato experience...how does fertilizer choice affect tomato flavor? Just wondering if my standard AG fertilizing (most fish & seaweed) is the best for the tomatoes or whether I should do something different with them.... Frank

I don't use fish and seaweed on my maters, but there is kelp extract in my Dunkel's Original Tomato Plant Fortifier. Everyone who has used it has said there maters taste great. I would think it would be variety more than fertilizer that would matter flavor wise. I don't know what varieties you're growing (hybrids or heirlooms) but as the materheads say "If you want old time tomato flavor you need to grow an old time tomato." If you would like a short list of tasty heirloom maters feel free to shoot me an e mail.

Why no fish and seaweed? And I have noticed that if I spray the AgroK product it seems to leave burn holes on the leaves and tomatoes...Cant figure which of the products might be doing this if any......Couldnt be the Calcium could it?
