Too much water &/or Nitrogen. Not enough Calcium &/or Potassium. We're just starting to see fruit on our Big Zacs so perhaps we can contribute something soon?

Like Steve said watch the water and some varieties split more then others. The pink flesh ones I grow split after a good rain and warm temps even when I keep them watered. The Delicious tomato seems to take it well and have a harder skin.Just my 2 cents worth but the pink ones have great flavor.
