Hello all, a new ? has come up, i thought i covered all bases but i guess i didnt, ? from an out of the country member is can he give his seeds out to his cub members in his country and send some to gtg. here is my thoughts and please jump in and help me out, When i started the GTG it was to get members to grow better gt year after year by turning in the seeds of there best tomatos, if the tomato had no seed just a bad deal for everone,if it only had a few we would give the out as a prize for onething or another, this is all on being truthfull, i think if you weigh and photo OR photo an unweighed your gt the seeds go back to the club members im sure everone is going to keep some for their self, but if everone starts giving out seeds before the GTG gets them then were do we stand as a group. let me know what you all think, as for me if your a member of this club you send your seeds in for the members, or we have a swap, or something but the seeds stay in the club......im trying to keep it simple, GOD BLESS, TREETOP

Whether or not there will be a seed shortage from big tomatoes will have a lot to do with how many of us there are. Also it will have to do with how many seeds are in the tomato in question. I doubt there will be a problem because it should end up being not whether or not each person gets seeds but rather how many you get. I would think they could be distributed in lots of 5 or 10 depending on availability. And don't forget that the seeds out of other tomatoes on the same plant, even if the tomatoes are small, should be the same genetically. This thing will have to play itself out.

THE rule will be like this each tomato that is shown,photo,and or weighed, the owner of the tomato will give out 5 seeds per member and the rest they can give out as they wish,if the tomato has just a few seeds they will be sent to me and i will give them out as a prize.if there was no seeds just bad luck nothing to do about that. treetop
