I started my seeds Sunday morning. After (4) days a few of the seeds were already up....woohoo.
Question, (2) of plants still have the seed attached to the top of the seedling. Do I need to remove the seed shell? What is the easiest way to do this? Or will it come off by itself?
Thanks, BuckHunter

Its risky, but you can remove the shells with tweezers, take 2 pair & keep all the presure on the shells,Sometimes the leaf will get pretty funky looking if shell stays on to long,I take shells of if possible, to do without damage,This is another reason to file edges of seed prior to planting.

Gently grab the seed shell, and pull gently...while gently hanging on to the plant, so ya don't pull it out of the seed pot!!! If it don't come off...leave it alone!!! The initial set of leaves being a lil deformed, cause of the shell, won't make a difference in the long run!!! Grow em BIG!!!!! Peace, Wayne

The first two leaves, are not really leaves, they are the embryo or (seed leaves), they have done there work, made a root, so a littel damage won't hurt. The third leaf is the true leaf. The first two (embryo) will die and or fall off.
