Pizza, this is my first year trying to grow a big tomato. I have some blooms on my plants, just not sure if they are megablooms. How do you tell if it's going to be a megabloom ore regular bloom?

mark u will see that the regular tomato blooms or flowers are about the size of a eraser on a pencil, the megablooms will be alot bigger in size 2,3,4, times the size AND are usualy more than one tomato,u can tell mostly by size and depends on what variety u are growing, big zac, delicous, burpee super stk.,pink brandy wine, german, old german, just to name a few are varietys that usually produce megablossoms !!! hope this helps pizza

First year growing giant maters. I have megablooms growing on my 4.3 Symanski,7.33 Hunt,7.18 Harp and my eating mater(Pink Brandywine). Been groing these brandywines for years and never had a megabloom on these. Also on the 7.18 Harp I have two "mains" growing? Top of the plant looks diff from my others. Maybe its all the Mycorrhiza i fed them. Didn't use myco last year on anything. This year my whole garden got a healthy dose of mycos'. =)
