I have never tried to save tomato seeds before and would like to save some from my 3.6 lb. What is the best way ??

I put the seeds in a small mason jar. Add some water, put some plastic wrap over the top, and put the lid on. Shake it once, or twice a day, and leave it in the jar for 5 or so days. After that pour it into a strainer, and rinse the seeds. Then put them on a plate, and set them somewhere to dry.
