what does everyone put in their compost pile ???

i got leaves ,egg shells,and some kitchen scraps,(veggies)
also gonna add some manure to it,and some bloodmeal!!!

any other suggestions on what to add and i guess im gonna cover it to speed up the process, i saw a few videos on you tube that showed it but not really sure!!! most of the leaves i use are oak leaves !!!

layer it pete, greens, browns: like manure, leafs, grass clippings ,,,sprinkle some bloodmeal on top,,,and repeat. build em 3 to 4 feet tall, not higher. Water each layer,,,but dont soak it,,,just wet it down a bit. Should heat up fast. Turn it every three weeks or once a month.
