Sure, BZ is an F1 hybrid and Delicious is an heirloom.

Very few people know how to produce the genuine Big Zac hybrid. The parentage of this variety is proprietary information and should rightfully remain so.
Unless you got your seeds from a commercial source (e.g. Totally Tomatoes, Shumway), chances are your seeds are NOT Big Zac Hybrid F1.
Most of the recent 4+ lb. Big Zac's are F4, F5, F6 or more open pollinated descendents of original F1 tomato plants from some years back.
Although most of the tomato experts are not willing to call these "Big Zac OP" yet, it's just a matter of time before tomato breeders are able to get a Big Zac strain that is true breeding and essentially identical to the original hybrid.
This dehybridization process has been carried out for dozens, if not hundreds of other outstanding hybrid varieties. Why should Big Zac be any different?
Anyhow, some of us have discussed cross-pollinating a giant Big Zac Fx with Delicious from some of the recent giants. I think the cross has great potential. Let us know how it works out!
