Do Tomato plants also get cut worms? should I put a ring of plastic around them to keep them from getting sawed down, or don't tomato plants get cut worms.

Richard they sure do . I use 2" black plastic water pipe ,about 4" long,I cut them from top to bottom down one side ,if you hold them in a vice ,but not to tight it works to hold them ,while you cut. Spread it apart and place around the stem ,and press in the soil an inch or two .Good luck Terry

I use a 4 inch long piece of plastic, usually from a 2 liter bottle of pop, and put that around the plant.
