The 2 - 6.5's and the 4.46 are in the patch and the 3 - 5.51's are in very large pots. They should start producing by the end of the month.

I have eight healthy plants going but I should have listened to Marv. Looking for a good start I transplanted eight plants the first week in May. All was well for a few days ...then. I ended up pulling three 7.33 Hunts and one of my 3.56. Luckily for back-ups, the replacements are doing quite well. Interestingly, the two 5.18 Lyons planted early on are the strongest.

I had all sorts for maters lined up for this year but the kids left the door open with all my maters and the cats ate 13 out of 15 plants so all I got this year is two pink brandywines and a plant from my 4lb BZ from last year.
I was so friggin mad. I had mega marv's,big rainbows and a few others growing and the cats cleared em out. :(

I have 20 nice healthy plants from my 4.3 (7.18 Harp x sib)grown in 2010. I am waiting for the heat wave to subside before I plant outside. It's supposed to be 90+ the next three days here.

Looks like the race is on. Just remember to keep spraying to prevent Late Blight. Spray at least once a week and after it rains as well. I use Daconil, Immunox and Manzeb and rotate them or mix them together. I hate Late Blight. Watch your plants closely and remove any that develop Blight. Marv

As I said on one of the other forums. 2 hail storms got my garden this year. All my big tomato plants lost their main stems. All I have is sucker growth on my plants just to try and get a few tomatoes to eat. The rest of my garden is 30 days or more behind. Hope to give it a go again next year. I'm keeping an eye on this forum to see how you guys are doing and what you all have grown this year.

No worries about rain here - hot and dry for weeks, expecting 100-plus temps for the next couple of days. All megablooms - actually virtually all blossoms - have been shriveling up and dying before even opening fully.

I got my other 11 plants for Part Two of my little experiment in the ground on June 14th. These seeds were planted a full four months later than their matched pair.

So very hot. Hope you are all doing well and watering regularly. I have a few tomatoes on but it is still too early to say much here in PA. We have lots of Late Blight all around us so all the growers here are spraying weekly and after any rain which we have had none of.
