Waiting to see. In my experience(wrestling), bathroom scales are anywhere from a half pound lite to half pound heavy generally, so look for anywhere from 4.5 to 5.5. Either way, nice mater!

Excellent Travis!! You have much to be proud of. That's cool that you only live 15 mts from Beckley.

MegaMarv is an heirloom tomato and so this new tomato should be called 4.5 MegaMarv (Travis) 2013 or something along that line. Heirlooms are open pollinated and so remain true by definition. Congrats on the new record.

When a tomato is said to be open pollinated this means that it is actually self pollinated. This is in contrast to pumpkins where open pollinated means it was pollinated by bees etc rather than having its pollen selected by the grower. Each tomato blossom has both male and female parts, also in contrast to pumpkins.

I've weighed in 3 more off of the 4.23 wahl plants. They were 4.0, 3.92, and a single bloom at 2.17.
