Hey Yardman!

I am assuming you meant Roma.

Yes, my neighbor grew six Roma plants in order to make sauce as well as salsa and has found that they are one of the top tomatoes for taste concerning both sauce and salsa.

I grew some Giant Romas last year. They were great. Nice big and meaty.

Good deal.seems that the meatyness of makes'em good for sauce besides the flavor

The best Roma I have tried, and I have tried a lot. are Viva Italia, from William Dam seeds in Ontario Canada. If you would like to try some send me your address.....Terry...jtchappelle@rogers.com

yardman, there's a ton of paste maters out there.
If you want a ton of them all at once, growing several Roma plants will do the trick, as they are determinate plants.
If you want them over a longer period of time, try an indeterminate heirloom. I like Amish Paste, Banana, or a new one I tried this year, is Nudi Family Heirloom. Very dry & makes sauce quickly.
