It's amazing how many big tomatoes a single plant can throw. Chris Kent is growing my 4.31 this season. On the same unique plant, here what he has grown so far : 3.41 4.70 4.23 3.99 3.03 4.94 3.84 3.79 4.56
That's 36.49lb for 9 fruits, average is 4.05lb I don't know what you all think, but to me, that's just great ! Congratulations Chris ! specially when that's your first attempt to grown giant tomatoes.

i picked another (last early one) its about 3.80. wasn't going to get a offical weight since i have bigger ones already. I have some late ones set, but not sure if they will finish. The plant was an experiment. Just never could get the really big mega fused blooms. The late one growing now is my best flower, but even so part didn't pollinate completely. After Dan's great tomato, it looks like we are going in the small plant direction instead of my big plant experiment.

That is impressive! Great genetics there! What other factors are making that plant produce like that!

Wow, that is truly remarkable! I can imagine MegaMarv pumping out two pounders on truss after truss, since for me it has been a very tall growing, productive variety. But 4 pounders? I can only imagine what vines in this lineage might produce if more aggressively thinned!
Wait a sec, we already saw that with Dan's 8.41 pounder!!!
Great seeds, don't spend 'em all in one place!
This year, Vincenzo Domingo grew 4 tomatoes on a single truss. Combined weight was over 20 lbs.!!! Keepin' my eye on that variety as well. It outperformed Big Zac, Delicious, MegaMarv, etc. for me in 2014.

My first one with multiples on a Big Zac from Julia came in just over 2 pounds, but there are three more out in my garden on that same plant that are way bigger. Mine are still green even in the cold and getting wider every week! I am confident these plants can handle more than one fruit and grow very BIG!

Minnie Z. has a plant that had 9 tomatoes on it. Their average weight was just over 4 pounds.

I requested pictures if they were available from Vincenzo's daughter, but unfortunately she said none were taken. So I guess this means I've started and am spreading a rumor, though I have no reason to doubt the claim.
See my diary for a picture of three really big fruits on one cluster. That is Vincenzo in the background.
Already thinking about next year, maybe a second contest to see how many big ones can be grown on one plant in one season. Would be hard to verify, however.

Mehdi, I agree with Michael. I was sending mail to your given email address but nothing was getting through. I was sending to the right address but you just were not getting it. Send me your home address so I can mail you something.
I have seen some Big Zac plants that got many big tomatoes on one plant. I once had 3 tomatoes over 4 pounds in one cluster. It does not happen very often but it does happen.
