When pollinating the tomato you take a flower and just stick them together the way you do with the pumpkin plant or do you just shake them up like I hear you do with the toothbrush

I take a Flux brush and tickle each one then repeat. I have also used a power toothbrush. My wife uses a feather.

Hey darren, take a look at my diary in January were i demonstrate how to pollinate a tomato.you cant just take another tomato flower and rub it like a pumpkin because the pollen on a tomato flower is on the inside of the anther cone witch is the petals that surounds the pistol.that is why a tooth brush works becouse you are shaking the pollon loose to fall onto the pistol and that is why most tomatoes are self pollinated.look at my diary if you wont to cross pollinate.

I take an electric toothbrush and vibrate the bloom.

Tomato blooms are self pollinating as opposed to pumpkin blooms.

I use my finger to jiggle blossoms and I use an electric toothbrush as well. Whatever is handy. Here is something out there that is available should you be interested. http://vegibee.com/index.php/
