I have a Mac Coy 8.41 that has 3 tomatoes set,the largest has gained 2 inches in the last four days and the other two gained 1.5 inches, would this be considered about normal, the largest is 22 inches, any comments would be appreciated since this is my first time growing giants. Thanks

How old is your biggest tomato on that plant? If it's not to old I would cut the smaller ones off and go all in on the big one.your doing very well!

Also pinch all suckers off and also the top of the plant. Basically cut off all new growth on the plant.

Dan McCoy is giving you excellent advice. I am amazed that you have grown three on one plant.

I don’t really know how old it is,it's not the first to set, but it's about 18 inches off the ground if that's any indication,I've topped the plant and keep all new growth pinched back,I'm not really wanting to remove the others because I want to make sure I get seeds for next year, thanks Dan for the advice, any more would surely be valued, this could sure be addicting, how do you support them? any suggestions?

Dan has given you good advice. One large tomato should give you a large number of seeds.
I would cull the other two and allow the one to grow to it's potential.

Should I cut both off at one time or wait a day or two between cuts, and is there anything that could happen that would prevent the one big one from ripening,I've got to have seeds from this plant,I can't aford to buy more😣

Cut off the other two tomatoes as soon as possible. The best performing tomato should remain.
I'll make a deal with you.
You do this and if something should happen to that one remaining tomato I will give you seeds from my Mac Coy offspring alright??
I have many tomatoes set and growing which means I will have copious amounts of seeds.
I'm always here, I'm not going anywhere so take me up on my deal with you. :O)

Thank you very much, I'll go and cut them right now, would that be 8.41 seeds? I know I won't need them if I get this one to ripen, but it sure is kind of you to offer just in case, thanks

I can give you more 8.41 if you ever need. Let's grow as big as possible and not worry about seeds:)

The seeds from your tomato could be as good or maybe better than the 8.41 to answer your question.

Dan-Thanks for your generosity, and thanks for putting all the effort and expense in growing the 8.41,I cut one off so now I'll go out and cut the other off, this plant is growing much better than all my other giants 6.88,6.16,6.83 etc. What do you use for support for the individual tomato? Should I give it any sulfate of potash at this phase?

Start a weekly potash schedule. I do this application as a drench to the bottom of the plant.

I use a narrow piece of white sheet looped around the stem and tie it off on a sturdy branch above the tomato. I didn't even support the tomato on most of my plants except for the 8.41.just make sure the stem is supported well so it doesn't snap off.

Thanks so much everyone I really appreciate it, could you give me some sort of a quantity guidelines for the sulfate of potash? and would you recommend kelp as well as greensand,I'm also doing AACT a couple times a month, anything else that you could suggest would certainly be appreciated, thanks in advance :-)

Yes Dunkel's.
I also use potassium (potash) at a rate of one gallon per plant as a drench per week.

Biscuitridge,
That depends on what your using.
For granular Sulphate of potash I use one tablespoon per gallon.
