First year grower here and have one mega bloom set. I know from seeing pics that these maters are not pretty with lots of lumps and bumps and sometimes look like multiple tomatoes fused together. What is the ruling of a single tomato? Everything that grows off a single stem?Single blossom? Thanks for any help.

All parts of the tomato need to be connected by some flesh. You can have some very complex megablooms that produce multi lobed monsters that have to be distinguished from fruits that are growing very closely together off the same stem. Rarely I have heard of the necessity at a weigh off of the officials actually needing to cut the tomato to confirm that it is 1 fruit. Obviously nobody wants to do this unless it is absolutely necessary!
