The 5.58 porkchop is the only domingo's I got to sprout but they are thumpin compared to the big zacs...I'm wondering if Anyone else that planted a few of the other Porkchop domingo seeds can notice a difference between the plants?

I had no luck w the 5.51 or the 5.20, which was my pick for getting a nasty mega...the 5.58 went ten for ten ..someone's gotta break that six pound mark w one of these....

I had a tough time with the Domingos - I ended up planting about 15 seeds and only got 1 5.58 and 1 5.51 - The 5.51 is actually growing more aggressive than my 5.58 - i've got a nasty one on the 5.51 that I am waiting to see if the entire thing took

The domingo I am growing is the 4.65 Thurber (4.55 Wahl). Had 1 out 6 sprout. Nothing special from it so far. About middle of the group that were germinated at the same time. The leader of that group is the 4.42 Landry(7.33 Hunt) delicious.

I was 0 fer 10 on the 5.51...all my seeds originate from the 4.55 wahl...I hope we all do Vincent Domingo proud this year...he passed a few years ago as I understand...

The 5.51 was a big ,block of a tomato..would have gone bigger if It didn't have another five lber growing on the plant...I predict many pB's this year..

I have about 6 Domingo plants growing. One of them has a nice blossom on it but too soon to see if is successfully pollinated. I was disappointed with Domingo compared to Hunt strain Delicious and Big Zac offshoots grown from Boudyo seeds, mostly 5.07 line. Too early to say for sure but I am not impressed with Domingo when you consider the space you have and the seeds you could use.

I got 3/5 5.55's and 3/5 5.20's germinated. Gave one of each away and planted two of each. Both are big plants, outdoing the BigZac's in size but much fewer blooms. Don't care. The one's that do show are nice in my opinion. The 5.55 has a couple of "blocky" tomatoes a couple of days old. I posted some photo's and should be up soon along with a Slammer update.

Porkchop: I am still recovering from ZacZilla, which had high hopes but then nothing big. Welcome to the club. The true test comes when a lot of people try to grow the tomato and it isn't always what you might have hoped for if and when they do.
