Does anybody grow pineapple tomatoes for size? I just picked one over 2 pounds.

ive tryed twice with the pineapple variety really nice blooms but never got a tomato over 1 pound , have u had any megablooms????

I don't think any were mega blooms. Just a lot of good size and some big.

with a good grower you may get one to 4 lbs, but i dont think you would get anything more than that. i have gotten many beafstake type tomatoes like the pineapple over two pounds !!!

If you can get the variety King Pineapple you may have a better chance for a big one.
I know in the past before I was trying to grow Giants that I got some in the 3 lb range.
I think they were just big doubles though.
