I have a giant tomato on the vine right now that is starting to turn red. The problem is that my weighiff is 2 and a half weeks away. If I pick it now before it goes solid red will I be able to keep it that long and if so under what conditions should I keep it.

Hang it in the fridge on a sling for the 2 weeks. Chris Lyons has done it in the past. If you leave it sitting on the rack, it could cause a split & start leaking.
