Im guessing if we have 60 people for example, with 3 people per team that we would have 20 teams of 3.so the a group would be the top 1-20 best growers, group B would be 21-40 and group C would be 41-60. So we may need to see the weights with each grower to see how to select teams.
Example would #1 be teamed up with 40 and 60
And 20 be teamed up with 21 and 41 ???

Come on Borkchop. Do it. Print the teams. I want to hear all of the complaining about the inequality of whatever you put together. Oh, and who is the first person on the list do far. Who is Bisicut? Let me be the first to say that the two people you put me with is unfair even though you haven't done it yet.

Put me on Marv's team...I will send him a picture of my newest experimental deformed plant every other day. Unfair will be way to mild for what I will subject him to :). Better be nice to your teammates, it could be a long summer otherwise.

what i was suggesting is hypothetically a=1-20 b=21-40 c=41-60 the groupings would be 1-40-41, 2-39-42 ...20-21-60. I am thinking that the just the B group should be inverted. So top A would be teamed with bottom B and top C. It all is not that important to me. I will have fun no matter what team I am on.

I want spence on my team...we could could come up with all kinds of new and exotic ways to kill plants. Then again..we might mess up and grow 12 pounders. I don't think it will matter much..what team I am on. It could be interesting at the end the summer...how many growers in the team challenge grow their PB in 2018.

I bet yer right gmay...at the end of every year I tell myself “that could be the biggest I ever grow”...said that the last few years...but they keep getting bigger...after last year seeing what it was like to really commit to the one fruit...I’m a believer ...10 lbs is possible...someone in this contest Could challenge that...the hardest part is paying that close attention to a stupid tomato plant...it’s hard...like watching paint dry...BUT-...when that turns a few weeks old and hits hyperdrive?!!...son of a bitch it’s just like watching the pumpkins take off ...freekin awesome .,..damn winter sucks...

It might be fun to do it in the chat room, but I’m ok if you draw names or if you do the Top A paired with the Bottom B. I don’t think anyone is going to object to how you distribute the Cs.

Chat will be busy both friday night and saturday with seed auctions. Unless the tomato team challenge could be done before the auctions, i think that it would be a distraction. The list is looking close to accurate. I emailed you porkchop with what I know that shows inaccurate. I don't think anyone will disagree how you will team the C members up...but I am thinking that the C member will be the most important one. I am thinking that the A and B's will not be far off from their PB. We should have some C growers that learn enough from their teammates to really jump towards the top of list. I am looking forward to this summer. I will consider my team to be a winner if every member grows pb..even if they dont win it all.

Are the rules for this thing finalized? Is it the total weight of largest tomato grown by each member of the team? In other words, biggest tomato by A member, B member and C member added together? An example would be if A grew a 5 pound tomato and B grew a 6 pound tomato and C grew a 4 pound tomato, the team weight would be 15 pounds?

Just to be fair I want you guys to know that my seeds are over at the hospital receiving radiation. These seeds will not only glow in the dark, there will be positive mutations that will make them invaluable when it comes to growing big. After they complete their radiation they will begin receiving hormonal therapy and vitamin infusions. Let the games begin.
