Are bumblebees visiting your tomato blossoms? They might be most active in the morning... I have a couple dedicated bees working the blooms. They started a couple weeks ago...

Also saw a solitary bee working on them today... So that makes two species of pollinators here...

The only bumblebee I’ve seen this year in the garden is me armed with my toothbrush. All the bees (tons of native bumblebee’s which is nice to see) are diverted at the big crop of lavender!

I have yet to see a bee this year. Probably not enough blossoms at my new place to interest them or all the hives in the area have been wiped out. I have flies though...

Here on Long Island New York I have about 30 tomato plants and spend at least a half hour a day among them. I have seen some bees but I have seen more in the past. Overall there are less this year

I have seen lots of bumble bees in the male flowers of my plants. You won't find them in female flowers because I ain't getting any even after adding bloom booster and P & K.

We've got bumble bees, but honey bees seem to be at an all-time low here around our patch.

I have many more bees in the pumpkin patches. They are actually rather sparse amongst my tomatoes. I am thinking of planting a bee-attracting plant closer to my tomatoes. Maybe Lantana? There is a shrub next to our side porch which had the most bees I have ever seen the other day. I’m going to have to check what that plant is. I could maybe put another one next to the blueberries.

Honey bees are scares. A lady south of here had 2 hives stolen. There are bumble bees and wasps , but few honey.
