I have seen them....i had to rotate one view. I think that the way the tomato is growing it makes it difficult for you to get a perfect measurement. I am thinking your measurement around after you pick it might be a bit higher. It looks like the tape is a little low. Your second measurement is at diagonal. That is a direction I have no experience with. I am going to guess the 3 way corrections as I see possible and come up with a guess of 19 x 17 x 15 for a multiplied number of 4845. This tomato looks solid, I don't see any airgaps. I will predict your mFactor to be 5.2 (00052). And the result of 19x17x15 x .00052 = 2.52

I would wait for a bit more red. You are going to immediately weigh. You can still gain some weight between now and full red. It is an advantage that it is single. Sometimes the big megas have one section that goes full red before the rest. If you were going to hold it for a weighoff 2-3 weeks from now, it probably would be time to pick because need to have very slow ripening in cool temps to get the timing right.

I could be wrong. Maybe other growers have experience that says now is the time. Good luck...pb are great.

2 lb and 7.2 oz..tim sent me a different picture of the weight. I have a feeling it was flickering between 7.1 and 7.2. Still 2.45 pounds. Dang, so close to pb...soon I expect Illinois record of 4.03 will going down.
