What I am asking about here is how many of you are using organic products to supply your garden nutrients and avoiding things like Miracle Gro and other chemical fertilizers? For the last few years I have been trying to go organic for nutrients. And avoiding chemicals for disease treatment as much as possible. Last year I did not spray any pesticides at all. If I get an infestation of something though I will not be hesitating to do something but not as radical as in the past. Being organic is a bit more expensive but I am thinking worth it. The transition is not so easy as it is a whole new ball game when it comes to the various products to use.

I sent you links to everything I was using last year. The compost tea worked the best along with the fertilizer.

I have used liquid soap in a hose dispenser for flea beatles. On a cloudy day one probably could get the plants very sudzy without harming the plants. I think you will do better on organic ferts for dinner... lightly apply the chemical ones if they are hungry for dessert. I think the chemical ones are plant candy... Gives a boost but... its a struggle to keep them healthy and balanced when they are eating at a convenience store.

I m growing 100% organically for severals reasons.
The 8.07 received differents purins, decoctions, macerations of différents plants , each has bénéficial effect : growth stimulator, increasing immunitary system, prevent diseases, stimulating soil micro life etc... bacillus, myc, tricho are great too. Soil préparation with blood meal, bone meal, worm casting, seaweed, etc ...

Organic, no dig here by preference. To be honest, i’ve never done anything else, so if someone starts talking 0-0-25 dilution ratios i’m lost. Give me manure, soil balancing, seaweed etc and good environmental controls for plant husbandry and i’d feel set!

Ha ha - nothing that would compare with your digging of a 20 inch by 20 inch per plant hole. Last season I dibbed in pre-germinated seeds - this year they might get a small pot sized hole. And a few of those with some choice seed ! :)
