Blessed with low humidity here in the summer so disease might not be a problem. . . I grew one plant this way last year and had no pest problems, surprisingly nothing ate the tomatoes. The plant had 4 tomatoes that totalled 10 lbs. Not too great but nevertheless I would like to try again. Is anyone up for an 'odd-methods' team...?

Compelling...It's worth a try! The commercial growers grow on the ground in Eastern Washington....so maybe!
