Oh, no, I have a tomato ripening! I know it's not scary or anything, but I would like this tomato to actually be able to be eaten, so I know what domingo's taste like. It is about 2-2.5 pounds, and is maybe 1/8th of the way red. Is it better to be safe, and take it off now, or let it grow out? After it has ripened, will it still grow?

They ripen very well on the kitchen counter. Or leave it on the vine for another week. I am unsure whether the weights really change all that much in the last week. Some may gain water weight when ripening... but others seem to get ripe without getting really juicy. I haven't yet researched what might cause them to be extra juicy. Maybe water, lol.

Picked it, half red. Not a PB yet. It was however light. It had a 0.00044 mfactor.

silly question: I wouldn't think which tomato from a plant you save the seeds from would matter but I thought I would ask the experts. Does it matter???? I have a plant that I don't know what kind it is, but is going crazy. I only had blooms on it from the end of June to the end of July so the plant is only waist high but I have already picked 3 over 2 pounds and I know there is another one. Picked so many over 1.5 pounds. I haven't hardly done anything to it. My guess is it is getting some fertilizer overspray from the pumpkins.
