yes, it is odd to me that other countries use a comma rather than a period and even in the same sentence a period along with a comma - the Metric System seemed to have originated in Europe to begin with but I don't care except for when my GM car doesn't seem to be ALL GM, lol. The other one i hate is the freakin' day of the month written/spoken before the month, like '2 January 2012' - i need the month first, day and then year. In other news, concerning tomatoes, can we look for the ones that may exhibit a longer ***stem-end-to-blossom-end length***? THAT would enable a tomato to swell just like a pumpkin, where we already look and hope for a longish fruit awaiting the season to fill it in. eg

Nice tomato chris. I was hoping to see more of your indoor winter grow this winter. What you were showing us last December was very interesting !!!

I will try to keep you updated better. The plants are now about 20 ft long, so I don't think that there will come bigger ones the next weeks. My season ends in July, 31 then I will start with the season 21/22. For the next season a few things will be improved in order to be able to grow a really heavy tomato. Chris

ROFL the whole world is metric, but a small part of nothern Amerca. Pirates stole thier metric measurements ;-)
Corgrats Chris, not many 2 kg tomatoes out there in Österreich.
