In growing giant tomatoes, after reading quite a bit on tomato genetics. So the fruit you grow on a plant is directly related to its parents 🤔 but not stable for six generations. So you pick fruit that adheres to your path to get a giant 🍅, when to stabalize, is there a tomato family tree that we could use to help stabilize, or is my thinking wrong? Thanks

Giant tomatoes are a bit different from growing and crossing regular varieties. The giant tomatoes are crossed continuously and tend to only go 2-4 generations deep before being crossed again. The varieties are pretty close in chariteristics so even when crossed they tend to be somewhat stable. With regular tomatoes when you cross you tend to want specific traits (green stripes, black color, certain shapes or sizes) so you regrow the same tomato over and over until it keeps the traits you want every year. With giant tomatoes we are never happy with the size or number of mega blooms. We are always pushing for more, bigger, and better. As this is the case trying to stabilize a cross is actually a deterrent as you want the tomatoes to change each year (get bigger) and not stay the same.
